Highlights of the trip
Exotic location for stay under starry skies in a houseboat / tent on a deserted riverbank as per your choice in Dibru Saikhowa. Excellent for star trails photography.
The vast backdrop of snow capped Eastern Himalayas with the riverine jungle interspersed with small tribal settlements sets the perfect tone for the river safari.
Hoolock Gibbons, Jerdon’s Babblers, Baikal Bush Warblers, Baer’s Pochards, only population of Feral Horses in Asia (earlyNovember), Falcated Ducks, Slender-bill Vultures, close encounters with Wild Buffalos…. for anything more exquisite we suggest Virunga National Park, Congo or Pantanal National Park in Brazil.
Kaziranga…. a UNESCO World Heritage Site needs no introduction. Suffice to say that it is one of the best destinations for wildlife photography in India as well as for general wildlife safaris.
The full moon rising on the vast banks of the Brahmaputra about hundred meters from the forest with wild elephants trumpeting in the distance. Enticing enough?
All safaris will be accompanied by the best local guide.
